of people are gradually losing their sight. Not because medicine has yet to find a solution, but because they have never had access to quality eye care. Deteriorating vision does not only take away the ability to see; it also deprives people of opportunities to learn, work, care for their families, and fully enjoy life.  <\/p><p>What is even more heartbreaking is that many of these individuals could have preserved their sight if they had received timely access to appropriate eye care services.
