Alina Hope – For a World Where No One Is Left in Darkness

Every pair of eyes restored to sight is a life transformed.

Light is a gift we often take for granted – until the day someone is forced to live without it.

Across the world, millions of people are gradually losing their sight. Not because medicine has yet to find a solution, but because they have never had access to quality eye care. Deteriorating vision does not only take away the ability to see; it also deprives people of opportunities to learn, work, care for their families, and fully enjoy life.

Alina Hope was founded on a simple belief: vision care is a basic right for everyone – not a privilege reserved for a few.

The Alina Hope Community Vision Care & Support Fund is an extension of Alina’s mission, turning our commitment into action by bringing international-standard ophthalmic care to those with the least access, including elderly people in rural areas, children in remote communities, low-income workers, and other vulnerable groups.

Surgical support for people in difficult circumstances

Providing partial or full financial support for cataract surgery and other eye conditions requiring surgical intervention for patients in difficult circumstances. Every surgery is performed under strict clinical protocols, using the same equipment, technology, and team of doctors as those provided to all patients treated at Alina.

Free community vision screening

Implementing mobile eye examination programs that bring doctors, technicians, and modern equipment directly to schools, factories, rural communities, and local healthcare programs, helping remove geographical barriers to access to eye care.

Raising awareness and promoting community eye health education

Implementing communication, counselling, and eye health education programs through seminars, talks, and professional materials. These activities aim to improve public awareness, especially among children, parents, and the elderly, helping them detect early signs of vision problems, seek timely examination and treatment, and reduce the risk of preventable vision loss and blindness.
