Our Story

"For a World Without Darkness"

Light is a gift we often take for granted – until the day someone is forced to live without it.

Across the world, millions of people are gradually losing their sight. Not because medicine has yet to find a solution, but because they have never had access to quality eye care. Deteriorating vision does not only take away the ability to see; it also deprives people of opportunities to learn, work, care for their families, and fully enjoy life.

What is even more heartbreaking is that many of these individuals could have preserved their sight if they had received timely access to appropriate eye care services. Yet the opportunity to see clearly is not always equally available to everyone.

It was from this belief that Alina was born – not merely with the ambition of building an eye hospital, but with a vision to create a high-quality, accessible, and sustainable eye care model, where everyone has the opportunity to see better, regardless of who they are or where they come from.

Because every eye that is saved represents far more than a successful treatment. It is the moment a mother can once again see her child’s smile clearly, a father can return to the life he knows and loves, and a family can continue sharing those simple yet profoundly precious moments of togetherness.

This is why Alina exists. And this is the journey we remain steadfast in pursuing every day—a journey dedicated to preserving sight and creating opportunities for healthier, better lives for communities around the world.
